Becoming a volunteer and participating in a work camp with IBO Italia is not difficult; however, a lot of generosity, understanding, humility, and a will to succeed will serve you well during your time with IBO. IBO Italia organizes numerous informational meetings, general or specific for a particular destination, open to all and necessary for all participants, where we can expand upon all of these points, and where prospective volunteers can meet past volunteers and camp staff.
Age Requirement: to participate in the work camps in Italy and the rest of Europe, one must be 18 years old;for the camps outside of Europe, one must be 21 years old.

OnlineApplication1) Our online application can be accessed directly from the
page on work camps, where one can chose both the camp and the session. Upon accessing the form, fill in the required information and then send it with the appropriate button.Your pre-application will then be complete, which is not binding.
2) You will then be contacted after a few days for a telephone confirmation of your application and more information depending on the project you chose.
3) We will then send to your house a copy of the contract, the application form you completed online, a description of the chosen camp with all the details and the contact information for the staff, and the postal payment slip for paying the camp and membership fees.
4) Verify that all of the information on the contract is correct, sign it, and send it back to IBO (within one week of delivery) to our secretary via mail, fax oremail, together with the confirmation of payment of the required fee.
